Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods a passengers to designated locations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure a safe and efficient driving experience.
- Maintain the cleanliness and general upkeep of assigned vehicles.
- Load and unload goods or passengers as required, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
- Plan routes effectively to optimize delive schedules and minimize delays.
- Keep accurate records of vehicle maintenance, mileage, fuel, and other relevant information.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers or clients as needed.
- Report any incidents, accidents, or vehicle issues to the appropriate department promptly.
- Follow company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and confidentiality.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a driver, preferably in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of traffic rules, regulations, and road signs.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift and move heavy objects if required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Additional certifications or training in defensive driving is a plus
