Job Summary:
We are looking for a friendly and competent wait to take orders and deliver food and beverages to our customers. The successful candidate will be able to provide excellent customer service and ensure a pleasant dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities:
1.Greet and seat customers in a friendly and professional manner
2.Take accurate food and drink orders from customers
3.Communicate orders to kitchen staff and ensure timely delivery of food and drinks
4.Check customers' IDs to ensure they meet legal drinking age
5.Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
6.Maintain a clean and tidy dining area
7.Provide suggestions on menu items and specials
8.Address customer concerns and complaints in a professional manner
9.Collaborate with other waitstaff and kitchen staff to ensure a smooth dining experience
10.Perform opening and closing duties as required
Requirements:
1.Proven work experience as a wait
2.Ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
3.Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
4.Strong communication and interpersonal skills
5.Ability to work in a team environment
6.Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays
7.Basic math and computer skills
8.High school diploma or equivalent
