Overview:
We are a new and exciting watersports company looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Wakeboard Boat Driver to join our team. If you have a passion for water, enjoy working outdoors, and have a solid understanding of wakeboarding and boating, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. While no prior professional experience is required, you must possess knowledge of boats and wakeboarding techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Boat Operation:
oSafely operate and navigate the wakeboard boat during wakeboarding, wakesurfing, and other water-based activities.
oEnsure the boat is always in top operational condition, performing routine checks before each trip.
2.Guest Interaction:
oProvide exceptional customer service, ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable experience for all guests.
oAssist guests with boarding and disembarking the boat, ensuring their safety at all times.
oOffer coaching and guidance to guests on wakeboarding and wakesurfing, tailoring advice to suit individual skill levels.
3.Safety Management:
oMonitor weather and water conditions, adjusting activities as needed to ensure the safety of all participants.
oMaintain up-to-date knowledge of safety regulations and emergency procedures.
4.Boat and Equipment Maintenance:
oPerform regular cleaning and basic maintenance of the boat to ensure it remains in pristine condition.
oManage and maintain all wakeboarding, wakesurfing, and safety equipment, ensuring everything is in proper working order.
5.Additional Duties:
oAssist with setting up and taking down equipment for daily activities.
oParticipate in promotional events, helping to attract new guests and build the company's reputation.
oProvide feedback to management on guest experiences and suggest improvements to enhance services.
6.Administrative Tasks:
oKeep accurate records of boat usage, guest activities, and any incidents that occur during operations.
oAssist with scheduling and coordinating bookings as needed.
Qualifications:
•Required:
oKnowledge of boats and wakeboardi techniques.
oStrong swimming ability.
oExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.
oAbility to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
•Preferred:
oBoating license or certification (can be obtained during employment).
oCPR and First Aid certification.
oPrevious experience in customer service or coaching roles.
