Inventory Management:
· Receive incoming shipments of heavy machinery, equipment, and industrial waste processing materials.
· Inspect and verify the received items to ensure they match the accompanying doentation and are in proper condition.
· Arrange the inventory in a logical and organized manner within the warehouse for easy access and retrieval.
· Implement proper labelling and categorization of items to streamline inventory tracking.
· Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile any discrepancies with the asset list.
Asset List Maintenance:
· Work closely with the Logistics Coordinator and Maintenance team to update the asset list of the rental division.
· Record new assets and equipment acquisitions, including relevant details such as serial numbers, specifications, and condition.
· Track the movement of rental assets, including equipment rentals, returns, and maintenance status.
· Collaborate with the Logistics Coordinator to ensure the accuracy and consistency of asset information.
Warehouse Organization and Cleanliness:
· Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to ensure the safety of staff and equipment.
· Implement and follow proper storage practices for heavy machinery and waste processing materials.
· Arrange and stack inventory in a manner that maximizes space utilization and facilitates efficient operations.
Doentation and Reporting:
· Prepare and maintain detailed doentation related to warehouse activities, including receiving reports, inventory records, and asset updates.
· Generate regular reports on inventory levels, asset utilization, and warehouse performance.
· Collaborate with the management team to analyse data and identify opportunities for process improvements.
Collaboration and Communication:
· Coordinate with the Logistics Coordinator, Maintenance team, and other relevant departments to fulfil equipment and machinery requirements.
· Communicate any inventory-related issues or concerns promptly to the appropriate teams.
· Facilitate smooth handovers of equipment to the rental division and other departments as needed.
Requirements:
· Minimum 5 years of local UAE experience in a workshop environment, preferably in structural fabrication and heavy machinery maintenance and repair.
· High school diploma or equivalent education.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain accurate inventory records.
· Knowledge of warehouse management practices, including inventory control and labelling.
· Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely (if required by the plant).
· Basic computer skills for data entry and generating reports.
· Effective communication skills to interact with team members and other departments.
· Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy machinery and materials, if necessary.
· Commitment to safety protocols and practices.
