Job Summary:
The Welder (TIG & ARC) is responsible for performing high-quality welding using TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) and ARC (Stick) welding techniques. This role ensures the fabrication and repair of metal components and structures meet quality standards, safety regulations, and production deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols to determine welding requirements.
Perform TIG and ARC welding on a variety of metals, including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
Inspect welds to ensure proper alignment, fit, and structural integrity.
Maintain welding equipment and tools in proper working condition.
Identify and resolve welding defects or issues.
Follow safety guidelines and wear protective equipment at all times.
Collaborate with engineers, fabricators, and other team members to meet production goals.
Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and welding parameters.
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience as a welder with TIG and ARC welding techniques.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols.
Knowledge of welding safety practices and standards.
Strong attention to detail and quality control.
Physical stamina and manual dexterity.
Welding certification preferred (AWS, ASME, or equivalent).
