It was established under the supervision of an Executive Management with high experience in Engineering and Project Management. The company has implemented many projects in various fields including Water Networks, Drilling Works, Irrigation Systems, Drainage Systems, Pumping Stations and Water Reservoirs and Lagoons.
Since 2013 our company produces high quality agricultural soil according to National and International Standards and is the only producer of Agricultural Soil in Qatar with a capacity of more than 2.8 million tons per year. The daily production of ready-made agricultural soil is 15,000 tons.
The agricultural soil produced at the Mekaines plant is one of the best soil types suitable for agriculture. It is sandy loam soil that combines sand, silt and clay at proper ratios. The sand facilitates good aeration, which helps to keep the plant roots healthy, the Silt is rich in humus and fertile material and the Clay helps to retain water inside.
The agricultural soil produced at PEO’s Mekaines plant is rich in nutrients and minerals. The soil pH ranging from 6.5 to 8.5 and Electrical Conductivity of soluble salts in the soil solution is less than 4 dS/m (4000 μS/cm).
