Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervision of architectural and interior work at site for a 5 star hotel project in Zanzibar. This role would require full time presen to Zanzibar, Tanzania.
Responsibilities:
•Develop innovative architectural designs for construction projects based on client requirements, ensuring functionality, aesthetics, and adherence to building codes and regulations.
•Produce detailed drawings, blueprints, and specifications using AutoCAD
•Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to understand and incorporate project needs and objectives into the design process.
•Prepare and review engineering reports, feasibility studies, and cost estimates.
•Oversee and manage the construction process, ensuring compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
•Manage and coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and various stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
•Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and ensure that construction activities are executed according to the agreed timeline and budget.

Qualifications:
•Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field.
•Proven experience of 5-10 years in architectural design and site work.
•Proficiency in AutoCAD
•Strong project management and organizational skills.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders.
•In-depth knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction best practices.
•The ideal candidate is willing to be assigned full time in Zanzibar, Tanzania for the whole duration of the project until its fulfillment.
