We are urgently looking for a skilled Carpenter to join our construction team. The Carpenter will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. The ideal candidate should have an eye for detail and possess solid craftsmanship skills.
Key Responsibilities:•Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to fully grasp requirements.•Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials according to specifications.•Construct frameworks, walls, floors, doors, and other structural components.•Install windows, cabinets, shelves, doors, and other fixtures.•Inspect and replace damaged frameworks or other structures and fixtures.•Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery in a safe and efficient manner.•Collaborate with other workers such as plumbers, electricians, and painters as necessary.•Ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.•Follow established safety rules and regulations.
Qualifications:•Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of a recognized apprenticeship or technical school program is preferred.•Experience: Proven experience as a carpenter with a portfolio of completed projects.•Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.•Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and other carpentry equipment.•Knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and compliance regulations.•Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials.•Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Working Conditions:•Work may involve outdoor construction sites, which may be subject to various weather conditions.•May require lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.•Must adhere to all health and safety regulations on-site.
Preferably Indian and Filipino nationality.
