•Supervise the construction project from start to finish.
•Coordinate with architects and engineers to understand the project details and requirements.
•Network with external contractors and negotiate to attain the best deals and rates for assignments.
•Ensure permits and licenses are obtained and maintained in order.
•Recruit personnel and contractors for the project as per requirements.
•Delegate tasks and assign responsibilities to personnel and ensure they are carried out.
•Monitor the performance of personnel on site and provide directions and feedback as and when required.
•Ensure resources are being used to the optimum to provide best results.
•Address any grievance of personnel.
•Report any discrepancies to superiors and implement effective and timely solutions.
•Ensure all legal, health and safety regulations are being followed throughout the project.
•Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
•Report and escalate to management as needed
•Perform risk management to minimize potential risks
•Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members' individual strengths, skill sets, and experience levels
•Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
•Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to doent needs
•Bachelors in engineering, building sciences or relevant subjects.
•Project management professional certification or any equivalent qualification is an added bonus.
•Team player and collaborative nature.
•Excellent communication and leadership skills.
•Strong multitasking, time management and organisational skills.
•Excellent knowledge of building permits, legal requirements and construction procedures.
•Well versed with construction and project management software.
