Job Summary:
The Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems and related HVAC equipment. The role involves diagnosing faults, conducting routine maintenance, and ensuring efficient operation of cooling systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, inspect, and maintain HVAC systems including split units, ducted systems, and central AC.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in air conditioning systems.
Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring.
Perform regular preventive maintenance tasks such as cleaning coils, checking gas levels, and inspecting thermostats.
Ensure that systems operate efficiently and comply with all relevant safety regulations.
Read technical diagrams and blueprints.
Test systems for proper functioning after installation or repair.
Maintain accurate service records and report major system issues to supervisors.
Follow all safety and environmental protection procedures.
Requirements:
Minimum 2–3 years of experience as an Technician or HVAC Technician.
Certification in or HVAC systems (ITI or diploma preferred).
Strong knowledge of systems, tools, and troubleshooting methods.
Familiarity with electrical and refrigerant components.
Good physical condition and ability to work in hot environments or at heights.
Basic communication skills in Hindi or Urdu.
