Design Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing new and existing projects to completion.
To verify Design Input and Output requirements
Participate in design review, verification, validation activities.
Prepare design calculations, sketches, drafting, final drawings, material selection and packages
Monitor and manage designs to latest standard releases.
Interface with production to ensure product designs can be manufactured with respect to quality, quantity, functionality and cost requirements
Analyze test data and reports to determine designs meet functional and performance specifications
Estimations Responsibilities:
Review of customer documents on receipt to ensure its completeness.
Organise / take part in contract review pre-quote initiation & review meetings.
All in-house co-ordination for preparation of quote including follow-up, collection of input from various subcontractors or suppliers or 3rd parties.
Clear understanding of work scope & best estimation with respect to execution of project.
Ensure the estimate is built up methodically and in sufficient detail and is in accordance with good estimating practice.
Proactively work with the Procurement Group to ensure Vendors RFQ Technical and Commercial evaluations are completed in a timely manner.
Assist Management in the identification, evaluation and ranking of risks
Ensure that quote price and technical schedules are complete and accurate.
Carry out peer review of estimates compiled by others, checking for completeness, pricing accuracy and adequate manning and resource requirements.
Maintain Lessons Learnt database from existing projects.
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Good to excellent working knowledge in oilfield as API Q1, API Product standards such as 6A, 16A, 16C, etc, & ANSYS.
Proficient in AutoCAD Inventor, Mathcad, Anysis and Solidworks
Experience in Design, calculation, drawing preparation and estimations
Innovations and quick adoption of new technology.
Skilled to Design and Develop relevant solutions based on customer requirements
Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines
