Job Description

Job Summary
Aluglass Facade Company LLC is seeking an experienced Aluminium Production & Site Foreman / Engineer to supervise aluminium and glass fabrication activities in our factory and manage installation works at project sites.

The successful candidate must have strong technical knowledge of aluminium systems, glass works, fabrication processes, installation methods, manpower supervision and site coordination. The candidate will be responsible for completing assigned works safely, efficiently and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality requirements and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, supervise and monitor daily aluminium and glass fabrication activities in the factory.
Coordinate and supervise installation works at construction sites.
Study approved shop drawings, fabrication drawings, cutting lists, BOQs and project specifications.
Allocate workers, machinery, materials and tools according to production and site requirements.
Prepare daily and weekly production and installation plans.
Ensure accurate cutting, machining, assembly, glazing and finishing of aluminium products.
Supervise the fabrication and installation of aluminium windows, doors, curtain walls, shopfronts, louvres, skylights and related systems.
Supervise glass partitions, shower enclosures, mirrors, balustrades, handrails, canopies and other architectural glass works.
Check site dimensions and coordinate with the drafting, estimation, procurement and project teams.
Monitor material consumption and minimise aluminium, glass and accessory wastage.
Verify that all required profiles, glass, hardware, accessories, sealants and consumables are available before work begins.
Coordinate with main contractors, consultants, site engineers and other subcontractors.
Conduct inspections and ensure completed works meet approved drawings and quality standards.
Identify production or installation problems and provide practical technical solutions.
Monitor worker productivity and ensure daily targets are achieved.
Maintain accurate records of production, deliveries, installations, manpower and site progress.
Prepare daily progress reports and promptly report delays, shortages and technical issues.
Ensure proper handling, protection, packing, transportation and storage of finished products.
Enforce health, safety and housekeeping requirements in the factory and at project sites.
Attend site meetings and coordinate inspections, snagging and handover activities.
Ensure snagging works are completed within the required timeframe.

Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Production Engineering or a related technical field is preferred.
Candidates with strong practical experience as an Aluminium Production or Site Foreman may also apply.
Minimum five years of relevant experience in aluminium, glass or façade works.
UAE or GCC experience is strongly preferred.
Strong knowledge of aluminium fabrication and installation procedures.
Experience with aluminium windows, doors, curtain walls, shopfronts, louvres, cladding and architectural glass works.
Ability to read and understand shop drawings, fabrication drawings, cutting lists and technical specifications.
Good knowledge of aluminium profiles, glass types, hardware, accessories, sealants and fixing materials.
Ability to take accurate site measurements and identify discrepancies.
Strong manpower management, planning and problem-solving skills.
Good understanding of quality-control and construction-site safety requirements.
Ability to work under pressure and meet production and project deadlines.
Good communication and coordination skills in English. Knowledge of Hindi, Urdu, Malayalam or Arabic would be an advantage.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, email and daily reporting.
A valid UAE driving licence would be an advantage.
Willingness to work in Umm Al Quwain and travel to project sites throughout the UAE.

Preferred Candidate

We are looking for a responsible, technically competent and hands-on professional who can independently manage factory production and site installation teams. The candidate should be proactive, disciplined and capable of taking ownership of assigned projects from production planning through installation and handover.
