Hiring: Electrical & Electronic Technician
Full‑time | Onsite in Doha
BS Group International is hiring a skilled Electrical & Electronic Technician to join our technical operations team in Doha, Qatar. This role focuses on installation, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical, electronic, and basic automation systems across industrial and oil & gas projects.
Responsibilities
* Assist with installation, wiring, termination, and integration of electrical, electronic, and instrumentation systems
* Support testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities
* Perform routine inspections, preventive & corrective maintenance
* Diagnose and resolve electric faults using approved tools and safety practices
* Provide on‑site technical support during installation, shutdowns, and maintenance
* Maintain accurate doentation, maintenance logs, and inspection records
* Work collaboratively with engineers and multidisciplinary technical teams
* Ensure strict compliance with HSE policies, IEC standards, permit‑to‑work systems, and local Qatari regulations
* Support operations in industrial, onshore, and offshore environments
Requirements
* Diplo Certificate in Electrical, Electronic, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or related field
* 1–4 years of hands‑on experience as an Electric Technician (industrial or oil & gas preferred)
* Strong understanding of electric systems and basic instrumentation
* Ability to read electrical diagrams, wiring drawings, and schematics
* Experience with control panels, sensors, transmitters, and field instruments
* Basic exposure to P systems
* Strong troubleshooting skills with a high safety focus
* Offshore flexibility required
* H2S, confined space, or offshore safety certifications are an advantage
* Ability to work on‑site and support regional projects (Qatar, UAE, KSA)
