Job Profile: Reporting to Chairman. Profile involves managing Finance and Accounts functions of the company. To coordinate with Bankers , Suppliers , Customers and Auditors and Promoters . Ensure key operational deliverables are being met, perform oversight functions, ensure audit compliant operational processes, risk management, stakeholder management, client relationship & engagement, explore new business opportunities, provide quality management information etc.
Ø As head of the function, reporting to the Chairman and the Board you will be responsible for overall success of the organization by effectively managing Finance, Accounts, Commercial , Audit, Taxation and Investment Planning.
Ø Analyzing various trade contracts , commercial aspects of trade and its impact on the profitability.
Ø Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures.
Ø Ensuring that appropriate systems and internal controls are implemented and maintained as per organisations expectations.
Ø Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports
Ø Responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual closing of financials- Balance sheet, P&L, Cash Flow statements
Ø Responsible for commercial execution of deals (both import and export legs), which involves interacting with suppliers, customers and banks.
Ø Maintaining existing bank relationships as well as establishing new bank relationships with international banks as well as local banks having an expertise in Trade Finance.
Ø Managing and controlling Trade finance lines available for the company.
Ø Resolves issues with contracts and commercial operations
Ø Communicates with parties in a contract so that all understand the terms, particularly a contract's financial aspects.
Ø Handling of Letter of Credit
Ø Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and petty cash.
Ø Handling of all important legal matters especially connected with contracts and VAT.
Ø Prepare presentations for senior managemnet; Create cost models; Productivity analysis and other financial metrics.
Ø Oversight of insurance policies
Ø Funds Management
