We are seeking a skilled GPS Tracking Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience with GPS technology and installation. This position involves working with various clients to ensure efficient and accurate tracking solutions for their needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation:
Install GPS tracking devices in vehicles, equipment, or other assets, ensuring optimal performance and functionality.
Maintenance and Support: Perform regular maintenance on GPS systems, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide timely solutions to clients.
System Configuration:
Configure tracking systems and software to meet the specific requirements of clients.
Safety:
Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations when performing installations or repairs.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in electronics, automotive technology, or related field preferred.
Previous experience with GPS tracking systems, installations, or telematics technology is added advantage.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Proficient in computer software and hardware installation, and configuration.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Valid driver’s license is added advantage.
