Key Responsibilities:
Installation:
Drywall Installation: Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets on walls and ceilings.
Metal Stud Framing: Construct and install metal stud framing to support drywall or plasterboard.
Insulation: Install insulation materials between studs or within ceiling spaces.
Finishing:
Taping and Mudding: Apply joint tape and compound (mud) to seams and joints between drywall sheets. Smooth and sand the surface to achieve a seamless finish.
Texturing: Apply different texturing techniques to drywall surfaces, such as knockdown, slap brush, or knockdown.
Repair and Maintenance:
Patch Repairs: Fix holes, cracks, and other damage to existing drywall surfaces.
Re-Skimming: Apply a fresh coat of joint compound over existing surfaces to improve their appearance.
Preparation and Clean-Up:
Surface Preparation: Prepare surfaces for finishing by ensuring they are clean and free of debris.
Cleanup: Clean up work areas and dispose of waste materials properly.
Safety and Compliance:
Safety Standards: Adhere to safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
Building Codes: Ensure that all work complies with local building codes and regulations.
