We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Marine Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a diverse range of marine vessels, including inboard, outboard, and stern-drive propulsion systems. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform accurate mechanical diagnostics and troubleshooting on marine engines (gasoline and diesel), electrical networks, and hydraulic systems.
Service, rebuild, and install outboard motors, inboard engines, stern drives, and transmissions. Inspect and repair critical vessel systems including steering mechanisms, fuel lines, bilge pumps, trim tabs, and fre water cooling setups. Execute routine maintenance and seasonal services.
Install and configure advanced marine electronics, navigation systems (GPS, radar), and auxiliary electrical components.
Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant shop floor, ensuring adherence to all safety and environmental regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Experience: Minimum of [5] years of hands-on experience as a marine technician or within a closely related mechanical trade.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Graduation from a dedicated Marine Technical School or Trade Academy is highly preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficient in using marine diagnostic software, reading electrical schematics, and operating specialized ha tools.
