Job Description:
As a Restaurant Order Taker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers have a smooth and enjoyable experience when placing their orders. You will be responsible for accurately taking orders from customers, either in person or over the phone, and communicating these orders effectively to the kitchen staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers warmly and take their food and beverage orders accurately.
Provide detailed information about menu items, including specials, ingredients, and preparation methods.
Enter orders into the restaurant’s point-of-sale (POS) system.
Communicate any special dietary needs or preferences to the kitchen staff.
Answer customer questions and address any concerns or issues promptly.
Ensure that orders are prepared and delivered to customers in a timely manner.
Handle payment transactions, including cash, credit, and debit card payments.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Assist with other tasks as needed, such as seating guests or helping with food preparation during busy times.
