REPORTS TO: Senior Swimming Pool Technician / M&P Supervisor
Job Summary:
The swimming Pool Technician is responsible for daily operation, maintenance and safety of swimming pool, spa, and related water featur role ensures cleaning, safe, and hygiene pool condition.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Ensure the quality of swimming pool water and all related equipment are kept to its highest standard.
•Clean and maintain swimming pools, spa and water features.
•Test water chemistry and maintain chemicals level as per (World Health Organization) WHO Standards either manually or automatically.
•Checks and adjusts PH level of water to set level and adjust accordingly.
•Checks and adjusts alkalinity level and adjust accordingly
•Inspect, operate and repair pool and water feature equipment (pump, filters, heaters, chillers, chlorinators and electrical system)
•Vacuum pools, skim debris, brush wall and clean tiles
•Identify and troubleshoot any mechanical or electrical faults
•Ensure compliance with health and environmental regulation
•Provide basic gaudiness to pool users if require
•Ensure availability and storage of materials as needed for maintenance, repairs a replacement.
•Report any malfunction to supervisor or engineer
•Maintain all maintenance records
SKILLS & COMPENTENCIES REQUIRED:
•Good English communication
•Proven experience as swimming pool and water features technician.
•Knowledge of pool systems, water chemistry and maintenance procedure
•Ability to safely handle chemicals and equipment.
•Physical ability to lift equipment and work outdoors
•Strong problem solving and troubleshooting
•Must have good interpersonal skills
•Ability to work independently
QUALIFICATION & EXPERINSE REQUIRED:
•High school diploma.
•Certificate in pool maintenance from vocational institutes
•Must have a minimum of (5) years’ practical experience in indo swimming pool maintenance jobs in hotel, resorts and commercial residents complex.
