Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Officer with a background in the fit-out industry to join our team in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will have between 3 to 7 years of experience in procurement, specifically in the Gulf region, and will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing materials, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring that all project requirements are met on time and within budget.
The Procurement Officer will play a key role in supporting the successful completion of fit-out projects by ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities:
•Manage the procurement process for all materials and services required for fit-out projects.
•Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate pricing, and establish terms of contracts.
•Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and design teams to understand the material and equipment requirements for ongoing projects.
•Ensure that all purchases comply with project specifications and quality standards.
•Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs), follow up on deliveries, and ensure timely receipt of materials and services.
•Maintain and update records of procurement activities, including quotations, purchase orders, contracts, and invoices.
•Monitor and manage stock levels of materials, ensuring timely replenishment as needed for ongoing projects.
•Track project costs and help ensure procurement activities remain within the budget.
•Handle vendor relationships, including negotiating delivery schedules, payment terms, and resolving any issues with product quality or delivery delays.
•Coordinate logistics for delivery, ensuring materials arrive on time and to the correct location.
•Perform market research and stay updated on the latest market trends, pricing, and available suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement decisions.
•Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and quality standards.


Candidate Requirements

Requirements:
1.Experience: 3 to 7 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on the fit-out industry in the Gulf region.
2.Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the fit-out process, including materials, suppliers, and project requirements.
Skills:
•Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
•Proficient in procurement management software and MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
•Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
•Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
•Knowledge of local and international suppliers, pricing, and market trends.
•Ability to evaluate supplier performance and maintain strong relationships.

Preferred Qualifications:
•Previous experience working in the UAE or Gulf region on fit-out or construction projects.
•Knowledge of local procurement laws and regulations.
•Familiarity with tendering and contract management processes.
