This is a full-time on-site Tailor role located in Dubai at ALI KAROUI COUTURE, where the Tailor is responsible for handling measurements, fitting, and alterations to ensure that the final product fits clients perfectly. The Tailor will liaise with clients, assist in selecting fabrics, and produce new garments or alter existing ones, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
•Strong knowledge of garment construction and alteration techniques
•Experience with handling different types of fabrics and materials, including cutting, pressing, and sewing abilities
•Familiarity with sewing machines, hand and power tools
•Excellent attention to detail – able to spot imperfections in garments and alter appropriately
•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
•Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with strong customer service orientation and ability to liaise with clients and colleagues in a professional manner
•Previous experience working as a Tailor and relevant education in Fashion Design or a related field is preferred
