Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing / Logistics Assistant to manage end-to-end purchasing and supply chain activities. The role involves close coordination with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement and logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end purchasing and supply chain operations, including supplier coordination and order management
Handle logistics activities such as shipments, deliveries, and freight arrangements
Communicate and negotiate with suppliers in Korean, ensuring favorable terms and timely execution
Coordinate with freight forwarders and internal departments to ensure smooth logistics and supply chain operations
Monitor inventory levels and support supply planning activities
Maintain accurate purchasing, logistics, and supply chain doentation
Ensure cost efficiency and on-time procurement and movement of goods
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in supply chain and logistics
Experience in the Tyres Trading Industry is highly desirable
Korean nationality with strong proficiency in Korean and English (spoken and written)
Proven experience in supplier handling and negotiation in the Korean language
Strong knowledge of supply chain and logistics operations
Excellent organizational, coordination, and communication skills
