Responsibilities:
Perform thorough dental examinations, including assessments of oral health, patient histories, and dental X-rays.
Diagnose and treat various dental conditions, including cavities, gum disease, and oral infections.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including restorative, preventive, and cosmetic dentistry procedures.
Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canal treatments, and periodontal therapy.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options.
Collaborate with a dental team, including dental hygienists, assistants, and support staff, to ensure seamless patient care.
Stay abreast of the latest advancements in dentistry, new techniques, and materials through continuing education and professional development.
Adhere to ethical and legal standards, maintaining patient confidentiality and upholding the highest level of professionalism.
Qualifications and Skills:
Dental degree (DDS or DMD) from an accredited dental school.
Valid dental license and current registration with the appropriate dental board.
Proven clinical experience as a Dentist, preferably in a general dentistry setting.
Proficiency in diagnosing and treating various dental conditions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and effectively explain treatment plans.
Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Compassion, empathy, and a patient-centered approach to dental care.
Proficient computer skills for dental records and digital imaging systems.
