Position Overview
Imad Alrifat Scaffolds Trading LLC is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Designer with experience in scaffolding, formwork, and structural detailing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings and collaborating with the engineering and project teams to deliver high-quality scaffolding design solutions.
Position Details
* Job Title: AutoCAD Designer (Scaffolding & Structural Detailing)
* Employment Type: Full-Time
* Work Location: United Arab Emirates (UAE)
* Experience Required: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in AutoCAD drafting within the scaffolding, formwork, or structural engineering industry.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings, layouts, and shop drawings for various scaffolding and formwork systems.
* Coordinate with structural engineers and project managers to ensure designs comply with international safety standards (BS, EN, OSHA) and UAE regulations.
* Generate accurate Material Take-Offs (MTO) and Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for project execution and client approvals.
* Revise and update drawings based on engineering reviews, site feedback, and client requirements.
* Maintain organized drawing records and technical doentation for ongoing and completed projects.
* Ensure all drawings are completed accurately and within project deadlines.
Candidate Requirements
Education
* Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or a recognized C certification.
Experience
* Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience as an AutoCAD Designer in the scaffolding, formwork, or structural construction industry.
Technical Skills
* Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and 3D.
* Experience with Revit or specialized scaffolding design software is an added advantage.
* Good understanding of scaffolding systems, structural components, and basic load calculations.
* Knowledge of construction safety standards and scaffolding regulations.
Soft Skills
* Strong attention to detail and spatial visualization skills.
* Good communication and teamwork abilities.
