ROLE OBJECTIVE
The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages while maintaining a clean and welcoming environment in the café or juice bar area. The role contributes to the overall member experience by offering exceptional customer service, maintaining hygiene standards, and supporting club events and wellness programs through beverage offerings.
DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
•Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages (coffee, tea, smoothies, protein shakes, detox drinks) following set recipes and presentation standards.
•Ensure consistency, quality, and speed in service during peak and off-peak hours.
•Provide recommendations based on customer preferences and club promotions.
•Maintain a positive, friendly, and engaging attitude with every customer.
•Respond to questions about ingredients, allergens, and special requests.
•Handle member feedback and resolve minor complaints efficiently.
•Maintain a clean and organized work area, including equipment, utensils, and surfaces.
•Ensure timely disposal of waste and restocking of bar supplies.
•Monitor stock levels and inform the supervisor of low inventory or supply needs.
•Assist in preparing monthly requests (MRFs) for supplies.
•Track daily consumption and report to management.
•Assist during events, workshops, or member engagement activities by preparing themed beverages or samples.
•Coordinate with the housekeeping team for cleanliness around the juice bar.
•Help maintain the presentation and restocking of display items and healthy snack counters.
