Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Civil Supervisor to oversee and manage construction projects at various stages, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to safety, quality, and timeline standards. The Civil Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating with project stakeholders, supervising construction teams, and ensuring compliance with design specifications and building codes. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical proficiency in civil engineering practices, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
-Supervise civil construction activities, including earthworks, concrete works, structural works, and site development.
-Ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, schedules, and budgetary constraints.
-Coordinate and schedule resources, subcontractors, and materials to meet project requirements.
-Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality control, and safety compliance.
-Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction and escalate as needed.
-Maintain accurate project doentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders.
-Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulations on site.
-Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure project alignment with client expectations.
-Train and mentor construction crew members on best practices and safety procedures.
-Participate in project meetings and provide updates on project status and issues.
Requirements:
-Proven experience as a Civil Supervisor or similar role in construction projects.
-Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineeri Diploma or related field preferred.
-Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and construction methods.
-Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
-Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., AutoCAD, Primavera, etc.).
-Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
-UAE driving license is a plus, but not mandatory
