**Job Title: Concrete Factory Manager**
**Position Overview:**
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Concrete Factory Manager to oversee the daily operations of our concrete manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing production, ensuring product quality, maintaining safety standards, and leading a team of workers to achieve operational excellence.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Production Management:** Oversee all aspects of concrete production, including batching, mixing, and quality control to ensure products meet specified standards.
- **Team Leadership:** Manage and supervise a team of production workers, operators, and maintenance staff. Provide training, guidance, and support to ensure optimal performance.
- **Process Optimization:** Continuously evaluate and improve production processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and increase output while maintaining quality standards.
- **Inventory Control:** Manage inventory levels of raw materials, such as cement, aggregates, and admixtures, ensuring timely procurement and minimizing downtime.
- **Quality Assurance:** Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure all products meet or exceed industry standards and customer specifications.
- **Maintenance Management:** Oversee the maintenance and repair of all equipment and machinery to prevent disruptions in production and ensure safety.
- **Safety Compliance:** Enforce safety protocols and regulations, conducting regular safety audits and training sessions to ensure a safe working environment.
- **Budget Management:** Prepare and manage the factory’s budget, including cost control, financial forecasting, and ensuring all operations are conducted within budgetary constraints.
- **Customer Relations:** Work closely with the sales and logistics teams to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. Address and resolve any customer complaints or issues.
- **Regulatory Compliance:** Ensure the facility operates in compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations, including environmental, health, and safety standards.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing or production management role, preferably in the concrete or construction materials industry.
- Strong knowledge of concrete production processes, quality control standards, and safety regulations.
- Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in production management software and tools.
- Understanding of financial management and budgeting principles.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
