CONVEYOR BELT TECHNICIAN ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain and repair conveyor systems, including but not limited to; installs and adjust belts in machinery, tightens bolts, adjusts tension rolls, straightens parts, aligns rollers, correct photo eyes, replaces defective parts, and other activities.
A Conveyor Belt Technician's primary duties involve installing, maintaining, and repairing conveyor belts and components at various customer sites that require conveyor belt systems to keep their operations running smoothly.
Conveyor belt technicians must have strong technical skills and knowledge of industrial equipment. They also need to be able to communicate effectively with other workers on their team so that they can coordinate activities during the installation or repair process.
