We are looking for an experienced Director Legal to lead the legal operations for ISMMART Group’s UAE Chapter, based in Dubai. The Director will be responsible for overseeing all legal and compliance matters, providing strategic legal advice, and ensuring that the company operates in full compliance with UAE laws.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide legal counsel and guidance on all company legal matters within the UAE.
Ensure compliance with UAE laws, regulations, and corporate governance requirements.
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal doents.
Oversee dispute resolution, litigation, and risk management.
Collaborate with external legal counsel when necessary.
Advise senior management on legal risks, policies, and procedures.
Monitor and interpret changes in local laws that affect the business.
Ensure protection of company assets and intellectual property.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Law (LLM) or equivalent from a recognized institution.
10+ years of experience in corporate legal affairs, with a focus on UAE law.
Extensive knowledge of UAE corporate governance, labour laws, and commercial regulations.
Experience in managing legal teams and working with senior leadership.
Strong negotiation, communication, and decision-making skills.
Ability to handle multiple legal matters and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
