Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing electrical engineering works and coordinating utility services across various project sites. This includes handling the procedures and technical requirements for SEWA and FEWA licenses, as well as overseeing works related to water, drainage, Etisalat, and other utility services.

Job Title: Electrical Engineer( MEP)
Location: Al Dhaid, Sharjah

Responsibilities:

Design & Calculations:

Prepare detailed electrical design drawings for lighting, power, low current, and fire alarm systems.
Perform electrical load calculations and voltage drop analysis.
Develop single-line diagrams and technical specifications.
Design and prepare related service drawings such as water, gas, telecom, and civil defense for submission and approval by local authorities.
Coordination & Collaboration:

Coordinate closely with architectural and structural teams to ensure design integration.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to meet project requirements and obtain necessary approvals.
Site Support & Supervision:

Review and approve electrical shop drawings and material submittals.
Conduct site inspections and prepare inspection reports.
Provide technical support during project execution and resolve on-site issues as they arise.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UAE utility authority regulations and procedures (e.g., SEWA, FEWA, ).


Candidate Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
SEWA / FEWA License is an advantage, or experience working under a licensed engineer.
Minimum 2 years of experience in the construction field (preferably in the UAE).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with local authority procedures and approval processes.
