Responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems, controls, and equipment within water and wastewater treatment plants, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards, often supporting automation and SCADA systems.
Job Responsibilities:
•Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on electrical systems
•Maintain and troubleshoot motors, pumps, VFDs, MCCs, and control panels
•Install, troubleshoot, and modify PLC and HMI systems
•Diagnose faults in electrical equipment, sensors, and instrumentation
(pH, flow, turbidity, level, etc.)
•Support SCADA systems installation, maintenance, and fault finding
•Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints
•Complete maintenance reports, work orders, and technical doentation
•Work closely with operations, maintenance, and SCADA teams
•Follow all HSE policies and electrical safety standards
Required Qualifications & Experience
•Diploma in Electrical Engineering or relevant trade qualification
•Minimum 3 years’ experience in water & wastewater treatment plants
•Valid UAE Driving License (mandatory)
