We are seeking a skilled and experienced ELV Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will install, maintain, and troubleshoot various Extra Low Voltage systems, including CCTV, access control, fire alarm systems, PA systems, and other related systems. The ELV Technician will ensure that all systems are installed and operating according to industry standards and client specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation and Maintenance:
- Install, configure, and test ELV systems, including CCTV, access control, fire alarm, and public address systems.
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on ELV systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist in the design and layout of ELV systems, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
-Troubleshooting:
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to ELV systems promptly.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients and other team members.
-Doentation:
- Prepare and maintain accurate records, including installation reports, maintenance logs, and as-built drawings.
- Ensure all work is doented and complies with safety regulations and company policies.
-Client Interaction:
- Please be sure to communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their needs.
- Provide training to clients on the proper use and maintenance of ELV systems.
-Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with other technicians, engineers, and project managers to ensure project deadlines are met.
- Participate in project planning and execution, ensuring timely delivery and quality work.
Qualifications:
-Experience:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working with ELV systems.
- Hands-on experience with installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting CCTV, access control, fire alarms, and other ELV systems.
-Skills:
- Strong technical knowledge of ELV systems and their components.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Proficient in using tools and equipment related to ELV installations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- **Certifications:** Relevant certifications (e.g., ELV System Installation, Safety Training) are a plus.
