Position Overview:
This is a full time remote role for a Finance & Admin Executive. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of finance and accounting principles, along with Legal and Tax related subject knowledge, especially with respect to the UAE and MENA region local jurisdictions.
The candidate shall be responsible for day-to-day finance tasks, including accounts receivables and payables, Invoice Management, VAT, payroll, cash flow management, liaising with bank and ensuring financial controls are adhered to. The candidate shall also be responsible for the administrative and HR functions at 3rd Eye Consulting LLC.
Key Responsibilities:
Finance & Accounting: ~ 50% Time
Manage financial close process including reconciliations, recurring entries like prepaid amortization, accruals, forex adjustments etc.
Preparation of financial statements including balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements.
Monthly invoicing to external customers.
Managing cash flow cycle with regular check and follow up on accounts receivables and payment to vendors.
Establish and maintain files and records to doent transactions.
Quarterly VAT preparation and filing.
Payroll management.
Preparing monthly and annual financial projections.
Coordinate and complete annual audits.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
Admin & HR: ~ 25% Time
Regular monitoring of team KPIs including productivity, account management etc to track progress against financial and organizational goals.
Handle administrative tasks and operations including but not limited to trade license renewal, vi contract processing, staff insurance processing etc.
Handle the HR functions of the company including framing HR policies, preparation of offer letters, onboarding new recruits, preparing and monitoring team KPIs.
Assist in pre-sales activities like vendor registration with prospective clients and regular monitoring of public tenders on government and registered supplier portals.
Assist in ad-hoc tasks as assigned by team members.
Legal & Tax: ~ 25% Time
Drafting, reviewing and negotiation of legal agreements for customers and partnerships.
Review and provide advi on legal agreements including sales and partnership agreements.
Ensure compliance with local tax laws including VAT and Corporate Tax.
Preparing and submitting accurate tax returns within specified deadlines.
Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of finance principles and accounting standards.
Proficiency in Google workspace.
Experience with Zoho Books is an added advantage.
Experience in financial reporting, forecasting and tax compliance.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Previous experience working in a startup environment will be considered as a plus.
Ability to multitask.
Attention to detail and accuracy of financial data.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
Essential Qualifications/Criteria:
Knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax.
Experience in reviewing and drafting legal doents.
