Job Title: General Ledger Accountant – Group Internal Finance

Employment Type: Full-time, 1-year renewable contract
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced General Ledger Accountant to manage the company's internal group accounting at our Riyadh head office. External tax filing is handled by a separate outsourced firm; this role owns our internal books, project cost control and financial analysis that support management decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the group general ledger and prepare monthly / quarterly internal management reports
- Perform engineering cost estimation: material procurement cost, dire project cost, subcontractor cost allocation
- Conduct financial analysis: project gross margin, cash flow, budget vs actual, cost variance alerts
- Maintain the internal accounting system; ensure data accuracy and timeliness
- Provide accurate books and supporting schedules to the outsourced tax firm (coordination, not filing)
- Bank reconciliation and cash-flow tracking
- Prepare management reports and presentations in English
- Ad hoc analysis and support for management decisions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting / Finance (accredited)
- Minimum 5 years of general ledger experience, MUST include construction works and engineering materials industry background
- Proven cost estimation and financial analysis capability
- Fluent English for day-to-day communication (working language); Arabic is a strong advantage
- Proficient in advanced Excel; experience with SAP / Oracle / QuickBooks / Tally / Zoho is required (state which)
- Ability to visit banks, ZATCA and government entities for finance-related matters when needed
- Transferable Iqama preferred (candidates already in Saudi Arabia)
Salary Package (based on experience):
- 5-8 years: SAR 9,000 / month (all-inclusive)
- 8-12 years: SAR 12,000 / month (all-inclusive)
