Job Summary
Aluglass Facade Company LLC is looking for experienced Glass Cutting and Double-Glazing Workers for our factory in Umm Al Quwain. Candidates must have practical experience in glass measurement, cutting, handling, processing and insulated glass unit production.
Key Responsibilities
Read glass cutting lists, sizes and production instructions accurately.
Identify different glass types, thicknesses, coatings and specifications.
Measure, mark and cut glass manually or using glass-cutting machinery.
Optimise glass-sheet cutting to minimise wastage.
Inspect glass sheets for scratches, cracks, bubbles, edge damage and other defects.
Grind, polish or prepare glass edges when required.
Wash and clean glass before double-glazing assembly.
Cut, bend and prepare aluminium spacer bars according to the required sizes.
Fill spacer bars with desiccant and ensure proper corner connection.
Apply primary and secondary sealants correctly.
Assemble double-glazed and insulated glass units according to production requirements.
Maintain correct spacer alignment, unit thickness and overall dimensions.
Inspect completed double-glazed units for cleanliness, sealing and quality.
Label, rack, store and protect processed glass correctly.
Operate glass-cutting and double-glazing equipment safely.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Follow production targets, quality-control procedures and supervisor instructions.

Candidate Requirements
Minimum three years of experience in glass cutting, glass processing or double-glazing production.
UAE or GCC factory experience is preferred.
Practical knowledge of clear, tinted, reflective, tempered, laminated and low-emissivity glass.
Experience producing double-glazed or insulated glass units.
Ability to read cutting lists and work with millimetre measurements.
Knowledge of spacer bars, desiccants, butyl and secondary sealants.
Ability to identify glass defects and maintain production quality.
Knowledge of glass optimisation and wastage control is preferred.
Ability to operate glass-cutting and double-glazing machinery.
Physically fit and capable of handling glass safely.
Willing to work overtime when required to meet production deadlines.
