Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Heavy Truck Mechanic with strong knowledge in accident and insurance-related repair work. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, and body repair tasks related to accident-damaged heavy vehicles and must be familiar with insurance repair procedures and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

*Carry out mechanical and electrical repairs on accident-damaged trucks

*Diagnose chassis, suspension, brake, and steering damage post-accident

*Repair or replace damaged mechanical components such as axles, engines, gearboxes, fuel tanks, radiators, etc.

*Work in coordination with the bodyshop team for repair workflow

*Ensure repair work aligns with insurance company guidelines and quality standards

*Conduct test drives and system checks to confirm all repairs

*Follow up on required parts and assist in estimation where needed

*Maintain accurate job cards and time logs

*Ensure safety procedures are followed throughout all repair activities


Candidate Requirements

Requirements:

*Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a heavy truck mechanic, preferably in an accident repair environment

*Strong understanding of commercial vehicle structures, frames, and mechanical systems

*Ability to read damage reports and repair estimates

*Skilled in using workshop tools, diagnostic scanners, and alignment systems

*Familiarity with insurance assessment processes and repair standards

*Trade Certificate or Diploma in Automoti Engineering

*Knowledge of brands such as Scania, Volvo, Mercedes, Hino, Isuzu, etc.

*UAE experience is a plus
