Job Summary:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to plan and design functional and aesthetically pleasing interior spaces. The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating client needs into practical design solutions while maintaining high standards of quality, style, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop design concepts, mood boards, and presentation materials.
Prepare detailed technical drawings, layouts, joinery details, and specifications.
Produce complete drawing packages including plans, elevations, sections, and detail drawings.
Select materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and color schemes.
Coordinate with architects, contractors, suppliers, and consultants.
Conduct site visits to ensure proper execution of design plans.
Review shop drawings and material submittals.
Present ideas and proposals to clients and stakeholders.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and doentation.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field.
Strong technical knowledge of construction details, materials, and site execution.
Proficiency in design and drafting software such as AutoCAD, 3ds Max, SketchUp, Lumion, or similar.
Ability to read and produce technical drawings and specifications.
Strong creative vision and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven experience in commercial interior design projects.
Previous professional experience working within the UAE market, with familiarity in local regulations, standards, and suppliers.
Solid understanding of materials, construction methods, and lighting design.
Strong presentation and visualization skills.
