Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MEP Draftsman to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) drafting and will play a critical role in the design and development of our portable cabin projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop detailed MEP drawings and plans for portable cabins using AutoCAD or similar drafting software.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure accurate and efficient designs.
Interpret architectural and engineering drawings to create precise MEP layouts.
Conduct site visits to gather data and verify field conditions as needed.
Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
Revise and update drawings based on feedback from the design team and clients.
Maintain organized records of all MEP drawings and project doentation.
Assist in the preparation of project specifications and material lists.
Provide technical support during the installation and commissioning phases of projects.
Qualifications:
Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience as an MEP Draftsman, preferably in the portable cabin or construction industry.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant drafting software.
Strong understanding of MEP systems, codes, and standards.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with 3D modeling software
Knowledge of sustainable design practices.
Familiarity with project management software.
