We are urgently seeking a detail-oriented Painter to join our team. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, varnish, and other finishes to a variety of surfaces such as walls, ceilings, and exteriors. The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail, good color vision, and the ability to complete tasks efficiently and with high quality.
Key Responsibilities:•Prepare surfaces for painting by removing old paint, filling holes, sanding, and cleaning.•Apply primer and paint, varnishes, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers.•Mix paints to achieve desired colors and textures.•Protect furniture, floors, and other surfaces from splatters or damage during painting.•Repair and touch-up any paint imperfections.•Monitor and maintain inventory of paints, tools, and supplies.•Ensure work areas are clean and properly organized after completing the job.•Follow established safety protocols and ensure proper ventilation when working with chemicals.
Qualifications:•Education: High school diploma or equivalent.•Experience: Previous experience as a professional painter is preferred.•Ability to handle tools (brushes, rollers, sprayers, etc.) and materials with precision.•Good knowledge of painting materials, surface preparation, and finishes.•Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.•Physical stamina and ability to work in standing or uncomfortable positions for extended periods.•Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Working Conditions:•Work may involve both indoor and outdoor environments, with exposure to dust, fumes, and chemicals.•May require climbing ladders, working at heights, or lifting heavy equipment or materials.•Must adhere to safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
