•Schedules, assigns, and plans the work of paint shop personnel performing a variety of painting projects.
•Estimates material and labor.
•Monitors the acquisition and use of materials.
•Maintains daily time sheet, and material records and submits reports as required.
•Trains or informs employees of new work methods or procedures, changes in safety regulations, and work policies.
•Ensures budgeting guidelines are met; prioritizes shop expenditures to stay within budget; assists in preparation of capital and operations budgets.
•Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in mixing paint, preparing surface of object to be painted, painting object, and drying on object: May compute paint mixture formulas.
•May inspect painted surfaces for paint coverage, flow of paint, and color quality
•Take and adhere to all health and safety precautions
-Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
-Computer skills in MS Office, MS Windows.
-Minimum 15 years in the same field.
-Management skills, Commitment, Initiative, Honest and Reliable.
-Knowledge of supervisory principles, practices, and techniques.
-Skill in the preparation and application of paints to different types of surfaces.
-Skill in estimating time and material requirements of work projects assigned.
