AM Global is seeking a highly skilled Plant Maintenance Technician for an urgent three-month project at a salt and spices processing factory in the UAE. In this role, you will be responsible for the specialized maintenance of cryogenic grinding systems, sterilization lines, and spice processing equipment. Key duties include troubleshooting high-speed automated packaging machinery—such as Rovema and Doypack systems—and performing essential maintenance on salt processing equipment within high-corrosion environments. You will be tasked with executing preventive maintenance schedules, handling rapid breakdowns, and coordinating spare parts while ensuring strict adherence to international safety and quality standards including GMP, HACCP, and BRCGS. This position is critical for maintaining operational uptime during the peak project period from May to July 2026.

a. Diploma or ITI in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering
b. 3–5 years of professional maintenance experience within the FMCG, Food, or Pharma sectors
c. Strong technical proficiency with a balance of Electrical (60%) and Mechanical (40%) skills
d. Basic working knowledge of PLC systems, sensors, and SCADA interfaces
e. Full understanding of LOTO (Locko and food safety standards (GMP/HACCP)
