Al Alam is looking for an experienced Storekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be an organized and reliable professional, responsible for stocking and controlling inventory in our stores.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure all stock is recorded, registered, and tracked accurately
• Make sure stock is rotated, stored, and organized properly
• Ensure shelves are stocked and well-maintained
• Determine when stock needs to be reordered
• Receive incoming inventory shipments and check for discrepancies
• Control stock levels and coordinate restocking activities
• Investigate damaged or missing items and keep records of stock movements
• Manage catalog and price lists
• Monitor slow-moving stock and take necessary action
Requirements:
• Proven work experience as a Storekeeper or similar role
• Knowledge of inventory stocking and management protocols
• Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills
• Detail-oriented and able to work with a high degree of accuracy
• Adequate knowledge of inventory software, databases, and systems
• Good math and numerical skills
• Physically able to handle, pull, and carry items
• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferable
