Job Description

Role Objective:
To support with the overall management of daily supply chain related tasks in the warehouse, transportation and purchase to ensure that orders are produced and timely delivered to customers.
OPERATIONAL

 Eecutes supply chain strategy within the organization, ensures policies and procedures are followed to guarantee set quality standards are achieved or exceeded.
Provides material for manufacturing process as requested.
Coordinates and works closely together with the Quality team to ensure that delivered materials meet the requirements in terms of specification and quality.
Responsible that all incoming material are checked for quantity as well as timely delivery, controls invoices against purchase orders.
Ensures all incoming and outgoing material is timely and accurately maintained in the applied system and supporting documentation is available as per internal standards.
Allocates the day to day activities to store keepers. Keeps them informed of expected deliveries and ensures that all documentation necessary is provided.
Manages transportation of the manufactured orders to sites. Ensures timely delivery and proper documentation for reference and quality control purposes.
Follows up all government paperwork and permissions is up to date and complete (related to logistics).
Monitors inventory levels and ensures re-orders are timely placed to avoid out-of-stock incidents and manufacturing delays.
Raises purchase requests based on inventory level and manufacturing plans. Coordinates with corporate Procurement Department the ordering process by providing product specifications, number of items and required delivery date.
Searches and identifies suppliers for specific items required in the manufacturing process or to enhance quality of the final product.
Prepares periodical standard reports and is responsible for accurate data and timely submission.
Ensures that storage facilities are clean and products are securely stored to avoid safety risks for employees or damage of the products.
Informs management through periodical reports about inventory which is not used because of design change or wrong orders (Set Shelf Life) and proposed alternative options for use.
Coordinates with Amana Plant for any maintenance and logistic arrangements.

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT

Assists in the training of team members.
Manages DUPOD drivers daily activities including maintenance if any.
Prepares time schedules for labors and ensures workload is equally distributed according to their abilities.

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Line Manager or General Manager
