We are hiring an experienced Testing and Commissioning Engineer with a strong background in 11kV Switchgear (AIS & GIS), Power Transformers, and Protection Relay systems. This role is a full-time position based in Dubai with a leading electromechanical company offering a competitive package and excellent benefits.
Key Responsibilities:•Perform testing and commissioning of 11kV A switchgear.•Conduct functional and performance testing of power transformers.•Test and configure various protection relays (ABB, Siemens, Schneider, etc.).•Carry out backup protection relay coordination and testing.•Prepare detailed test reports and doentation.•Collaborate with the engineering and site execution team to ensure project timelines are met.•Support site acceptance testing (SAT) and handover procedures
•Minimum 3 years of experience in Testing & Commissioning.•Hands-on experience with:•11kV AIS & GIS switchgear•Power Transformers•Protection Relays (Prima injection testing)•Strong knowledge of electrical protection schemes and relay settings.•Good understanding of electrical drawings and SLDs.•Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.•Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.•Willingness to work at various project sites across the UAE.
