We are looking for a Boat Designer to join our team. The Boat Designer will be responsible for designing and developing new boat models, as well as improving existing models. The successful candidate will have a passion for boats and be able to create innovative designs that meet client needs.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop new boat models from concept to production.
Improve existing boat models by making modifications and enhancements.
Work with engineers, clients, and suppliers to ensure design specifications are met.
Analyze customer feedback to incorporate into future designs.
Research market trends, materials, and manufacturing processes.
Prepare doentation such as drawings, reports, bill of materials etc.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture or related field (Master’s preferred).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in boat desi.
Excellent CAD skills with knowledge of 3D software packages such as SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor.
Knowledge of hydrodynamics, structural design principles
