KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the company’s overall financial planning, accounting, budgeting, and reporting.
Prepare and review financial statements, management accounts, and financial reports.
Manage cash flow, working capital, receivables, payables, and project-related financial requirements.
Monitor project costs, budgets, profitability, and financial performance.
Ensure proper accounting of construction contracts, subcontractors, suppliers, and project expenses.
Manage VAT, corporate tax, audits, and other UAE statutory financial requirements.
Ensure compliance with UAE accounting, taxation, and financial regulations.
Establish and maintain strong financial controls and accounting procedures.
Coordinate with auditors, banks, suppliers, clients, and government authorities when required.
Review contracts, payment applications, invoices, LPOs, and project financial doentation.
Provide management with financial analysis and recommendations for cost control and business decisions.
Monitor project cash flow and ensure timely collection of client payments.
Identify financial risks and implement appropriate control measures.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA / ACCA / ACA or equivalent).
Minimum 10 years of professional accounting and finance experience.
Proven experience in the UAE construction or contracting industry is essential.
Strong knowledge of construction project accounting, cost control, and contract financial management.
Excellent knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.
Strong understanding of UAE accounting standards and statutory compliance.
Experience with accounti software and advanced MS Excel.
Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
UAE experience with a building contracting company will be highly preferred.
