The candidate for this position will be successful if they are able to execute a variety of secretarial duties of a confidential nature. These tasks will include working with attorneys, paralegals and other members of the firm with a series of administrative functions. Therefore, the candidate will have to have effective time managements and organizational skills coupled with the ability to be detail oriented.
Responsibilities:
Working on letters, memorandums, powers of attorney and various other legal documents.
Reviewing legal documents to ensure they are in a proper format.
File, organize and copy legal documents in a timely and organized manner for easy access.
Communicate with clients, gathering necessary documents and information.
Conduct all initial research and provide information to the legal department.
Handling all internal and external legal correspondence.
Taking minutes of meetings and sizeable dictations.
Maintaining office systems and data management systems, doing all secretarial work, diary management and keeping records.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with legal and general documents.
Demonstrated experience in the same position for 2+ years.
Outstanding organizational skills to properly handle and file documents.
Strong ethics to handle sensitive documents and sensitive information.
