Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced MEP Construction Engineer with a strong background in building construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, supervising, and ensuring the successful execution of MEP works, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems. Experience with villas, commercial buildings, and high-rise projects is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and supervise MEP construction activities on site.
Ensure MEP installations are completed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
Review and interpret MEP drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and technical doents.
Coordinate MEP works with civil, structural, architectural, and finishing works.
Supervise subcontractors, technicians, and site teams.
Monitor manpower, materials, work progress, and productivity.
Conduct regular site inspections and ensure quality standards are maintained.
Identify and resolve technical issues, clashes, and site coordination problems.
Review material submittals, method statements, RFIs, and technical submissions.
Coordinate testing, commissioning, snagging, and handover of MEP systems.
Coordinate with consultants, clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and project management teams.
Ensure compliance with Bahrain regulations, HSE requirements, and applicable engineering standards.
Prepare dai progress reports and provide updates to management.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degr in Mechanical, Electrical, MEP Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of relevant MEP construction experience.
Strong hands-on experience in building construction projects.
Experience in Bahrain construction projects is highly preferred / required.
Experience with villas, high-rise, commercial, or residential projects is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems.
Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and technical specifications.
Experience coordinating and managing subcontractors and site teams.
Good knowledge of construction quality and safety requirements.
AutoCAD and MS Office knowledge is an advantage.
Strong communication, coordination, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Must be currently available in Bahrain.
Immediate joiner preferred.
Transferab visa is an advantage.
