Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Laboratory Technician role based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates. The Laboratory Technician will perform routine and specialized laboratory tests such as Tensile Test, Charpy Impact Test, Hardness test, Macro Examination Etc, operate and maintain laboratory equipment, and prepare samples according to established protocols. The role involves doenting results accurately, supporting quality control procedures, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines. The Laboratory Technician will assist in organizing laboratory resources, monitoring supplies, and maintaining a clean and orderly work environment. Collaboration with other technical staff and supervisors to troubleshoot issues, improve processes, and support ongoing projects is expected.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong laboratory skills, including hands-on experience with standard laboratory procedures and techniques.
Candidates should possess skills in working with laboratory equipment, including operation, calibration, and basic maintenance.
Candidates should possess quality control skills, with the ability to follow protocols, perform checks, and ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.
Candidates should possess analytical skills to interpret data, identify anomalies, and support technical decision-making.
Candidates should have prior experience as laboratory technicians or in similar technical roles.
A diploma or degree in Mechanical, chemistry, biology, or a related scientific field is preferred.
Knowledge of laboratory safety standards and regulatory requirements is beneficial.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Proficiency in basic computer applications and laboratory information systems is an advantage.
