Dr Rami Hamed Center FZ LLC is seeking a highly qualified and compassionate are looking for a dedicated, compassionate pediatrician to be responsible for the medical care from infancy to adolescence. The pediatrician provides general medicine, growth and development monitoring, and immunization tracking and administering. You will also ease children with chronic conditions and offer support and advice to parents about children's health, safety, nutrition, and fitness needs.

Reports To: Medical Director

Job Summary:
The Specialist Psychiatrist will provide high-quality, patient-centered psychiatric care in accordance with Dubai Health Authority (DHA) standards. The role involves diagnosing and managing a wide range of mental health disorders, delivering evidence-based treatments, and ensuring compliance with DHA regulations and clinical governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed psychiatric assessments, including mental status examinations and risk evaluations.
Diagnose and manage psychiatric disorders such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and personality disorders.
Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans in line with DHA clinical guidelines.
Prescribe, monitor, and adjust psychotropic medications safely and effectively.
Provide psychotherapy interventions (CBT, supportive therapy, etc.) where appropriate.
Manage acute psychiatric emergencies and provide crisis intervention.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (psychologists, GPs, nurses, and social workers).
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical records as per DHA standards.
Ensure patient confidentiality and ethical medical practice at all times.
Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and peer reviews.
Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment, and preventive mental health care.
Comply with DHA licensing regulations, continuing medical education (CME), and revalidation requirements.

Qualifications & DHA Requirements:
MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.

Postgraduate qualification in Psychiatry:
MD / DNB Psychiatry
OR MRCPsych
OR equivalent recognized by DHA
DHA Eligibility Letter or valid DHA License as Specialist Psychiatrist.
Minimum 3–5 years of post-qualification experience as per DHA PQR (Professional Qualification Requirements).

Strong clinical knowledge aligned with international and DHA guidelines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Cultural sensitivity in a diverse patient population (UAE context)
Ability to manage high-risk and complex psychiatric cases
Strong doentation and compliance awareness
Team collaboration and multidisciplinary coordination

Preferred Requirements:


Experience in outpatient and inpatient psychiatric settings
Arabic language Mandatory, English is an advantage
Experience in the UAE healthcare system

Regulatory Compliance:


Must adhere to all guidelines set by Dubai Health Authority
Maintain valid licensure
Follow UAE medical ethics, patient safety, and confidentiality laws
